Laps, plants and film.

Since 2022 I build and sell my own small apps. Each one does a single job. Here are three.

A swimming lane from above: the swimmer turns at each wall, and a tally mark goes up with every length.

Tide

A minimal swim-lap counter for your watch. You swim, it counts the lengths.

41k downloads design award finalist, 2024

A week of watering for three plants: the leafy one twice, the cactus once, the fern every other day. MTWTFSS

Groundwork

A plant-watering planner: which plant needs water, and on which day.

4.8 stars from 2,300 ratings

A strip of black-and-white film: the same hill and sun six times, from too light to too dark.

Mono

A black-and-white film camera for your phone.

Five years of music with no signal.

Four signal bars, all empty: no signal.

From 2017 to 2022 I was on the offline downloads team of a large music-streaming app: the songs people save so they still play on a plane or underground. Since 2022 I build my own apps, and two a year for clients.
